Fashion photo shoots are often enjoyable, but they are also hard work. Taking the perfect image is about more than just lighting and angles – it is about capturing the particular sense of style that the designer and model are working together to produce.
Often, fashion shoots involve just one photographer, so it was a unique and fun event on Sunday 15 February 2015 that saw 10 photographers and 14 models get together to take a series of fashion and lifestyle shots, as well as some individual portraits.
Lead photographers at the event included Dave Ouano, Jenna Braunstein, Warren Perlstein and Specialist Photographer Will Knight, of Will Knight Photography, Chicago, IL. Knight comments:

“This was such a great event to be involved in and we are indebted to the Chicago Independent Photographers Association and the Chicago Photography Center for helping to organize it. We were able to mix and match the models and couples in order to capture some fantastic lifestyle shots and some wonderful fashion images. With so many photographers and models present, it was a lively event and one that was exciting to be a part of.
“It was also great to be working alongside some of Chicago’s best professional photographers and to share in the joy or our art together, which is quite a rare occurrence. With so much positive feedback about the event, I hope it will be the first of many such photo shoots.”
