That leader is Justin Adam Muñoz.
Justin has made a mark in the academe and government with his visionary brand marketing and relationship cultivation expertise, presently serving as the Director of Alumni Affairs at the Texas A&M University-Kingsville.
Justin’s core competencies encompass a unique mix of online and digital marketing, business intelligence, social and digital media, partner relationships, event coordination, project management, fundraising and development, and public relations.
Exhibiting high emotional intelligence and a passion for mentorship, Justin also takes every opportunity to inspire and build strong teams. Part of his most notable achievements include instructing 500 students yearly on personal development, industry and career knowledge, organizational leadership, networking, and professional image enhancement.
Justin is a veritable brand communication, digital marketing and social media whiz, having created a social media plan for Texas A&M University-Kingsville and increasing engagement to over 600%, established programming and methods of engagement for 9,200 students, and contributed to the development of the official Texas A&M University-Kingsville Magazine with a readership of 40,000. Justin has also implemented a strategic communications plan to engage students, faculty, staff, and alumni across various social channels that resulted in 100% increase in online engagement and email open rates.
With his penchant for event coordination, Justin uses his public relations, creativity, and organizational skills to launch successful fundraising programs and other brand-building events in the academe. Two of his notable accomplishments in this area include coordinating 50 annual alumni events and working with collegiate units on an annual giving program that yielded $100,000 in donations.
As proof of his excellence, Justin has received several awards for his work, namely:

- MARCOM Award – Platinum Award for Publication Excellence in Ecommunications/Emagazine
- MARCOM Award – Gold Winner in Magazine/Educational Institution
Justin was also selected as one of the 24 national professionals of diversity for the Minority Advancement Institute to focus on the management and mentoring of professionals of diverse backgrounds in Washington, DC.
Justin is a graduate of University of Texas at Austin with a Bachelor of Science degree in Communication Studies and an MBA from the same university, which he completed in 2013.
